The main purpose of this position is to assign and assist with various tasks, supervise staff, train, motivate and ensure that work is completed timeously, and according to the required legislative standards and company specifications.

Minimum Requirements
• Senior Certificate and at least 8 years related work experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Building and construction experience, including staff supervision, plumbing and above average electrical knowledge
• Planning, organisational, technical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Willingness to work overtime, after hours and be on scheduled weekend standby

Key Performance Areas:
Responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Provides support to the Maintenance Manager and Team
• Supervises builders, plasterers, carpenters etc. to ensure workmanship compiles with required specifications and standards
• Proactively & systematically, conducts inspections on Infrastructure, Fencing, Signage, Buildings & Assets etc.
• Compiles detailed fault finding and preventative maintenance recommendations
• Monitor and control, stock, tool & equipment inventory, assets etc.
• Responsible for tool & equipment safety checks, performs the duties of a SHE Representative
• Ensures staff adherence to Health & Safety standards, systems and procedures
