MARKETING MANAGER

SAN LAMEER MASTER HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

San Lameer Estate, South Africa’s premier residential golf estate, is seeking an experienced, dynamic and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead the Estate’s marketing and communications function.

The successful candidate will drive the marketing strategy across the Estate, Villa Rentals and Golf Club while ensuring a consistent and premium brand experience across all customer touchpoints. The role includes operational responsibility for the Reception and Leisure Desk teams and other Estate amenities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related field
  • Minimum six (6) years’ marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, tourism, leisure, golf, property or estate management
  • A design background and proficiency in CorelDRAW or similar design software program
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Proven experience developing and implementing successful marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing platforms, websites, social media and content creation
  • Previous people management and leadership experience
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Sound financial and budget management experience
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and website content management systems
  • A valid South African driver’s licence

 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing the annual marketing strategy and managing the marketing budget.
  • Driving brand awareness and maintaining a consistent corporate identity across all platforms.
  • Managing the Estate’s websites, owner portal, digital marketing, social media channels and content production.
  • Planning and delivering the Estate’s annual events calendar, including member events, holiday programmes and flagship events.
  • Managing the Reception and Leisure Desk operations, including team leadership, service standards and staff development.
  • Building strong relationships with owners, members, guests, tourism partners, media and other stakeholders.
  • Preparing quarterly marketing reports and presenting campaign performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinating cross-functional projects involving Operations, Golf Club, Villa Rentals, Hotel & Spa, Finance, HR, Maintenance, Security and external service providers.
  • Leading community engagement and corporate social responsibility initiatives on behalf of the Estate.
